This guest post from Edgardo Rosa
New Year's Eve can be very predictable. At exactly midnight, a ball will drop in the middle of Times Square and millions of people around the world will kiss, cheer, and celebrate. This might be exciting to other people, but it's not very exciting to me. On the other hand, some programs on New Year's Eve are capable of keeping me entertained. More importantly, they are capable of keeping me on my toes. I love the unexpected. I don't know why, but I've always been that way. The most unexpected events in my life have led to the most memorable times in my life - some good and some bad. This is the only reason I'm watching Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin this New Year's Eve. There are going to be several great options to choose from on my satellite tv, but this is at the top of my list. The reason is because of Kathy Griffin. I like and respect Anderson Cooper a lot more, but he's not going to say or do something I don't expect. Im also not a fan of people who make a career out of shock value, but I cant keep myself from watching. There is little doubt in my mind that she will say or do something that will make the news. I would like to be there - or at least watching it on Direc4U television - when it happens.
